Staff Requirements @ Techography

So you think you may want to be a staff member?

Great, I need all the help I can get. Being a staffer here is easy. You send me an e-mail telling me why you want to be a staffer here and just a very short blurb as an example of your writing skills. I'd prefer the example to on something technical, like changing permissions to a file in linux. This way I see how you approche your audience.

Also make sure you have joined the site and include your login name in your e-mail so that I can make the appropriate changes to your user permissions if you appear to be staff material. Then from there you just find news, write articles on technical issues or a product review if you are lucky enough to have gotten a new toy. As much as I'd like to send staffers new toys, I don't have a budget do so and many companies are no longer taking chances with smaller sites and handing over products for review.

I don't expect the impossible, I don't expect you to crank out several articles a week. I'd be happy if I could get 3 people posting one story a week here on the site. So, my requirements arn't anything much. I can't offer money, all I can offer is that once there is some real content on the site, people will actually come to the site and read what you have written and that what it's really all about anyway isn't it?
