Ok, took me a few days due to a bunch of family stuff, but here they are available.
The visit with Joe was great, can't thank him enough for making the trip down so I could meet his wife and daughter. Had a lot of fun and a lot to drink.
So, without any more blabber from me, here is the link to the picks. Click Here
Oh and before anyone says anything, I am not in any of the pics. I fogot to hand off the camera and thus you are all spared my ugliness. Editors Note: More posts following this one, so keep scrolling!! This one will be at the top a day or 5

Listen up, all of you who plan to give to Valour IT today; Today is the Birthday of The Marine Corps (see the post below). May I recommend that all donations you planned to give today, be given on the Marines' Team's behalf? You know you want to... you know you should. Especially if you're an admirer of Marines. No matter what team you may be hyping up.
As of this moment, the Mollusks are edging the Doggies... both have reached their $21,000 goal. The Good Guys are in third moving in for the kill, with the Zoomies trailing.
While you know that the Marines are the only team you should consider giving on behalf of, should you be feeling foolish, you can go here to choose your team, see their status, and see who is on each team.
No matter who wins this contest, the ones who will win the most are the recipients of your gifts. Tomorrow, Veterans' Day, is the final day of the contest... let's make these next two days something to remember! *Also posted at Drunken Wisdom.

I am an idiot... I wasn't paying attention - or maybe I was paying too much attention to this new blog format and I failed to see the boxes at the bottom of the page with little things like - giving myself permission to edit my own post... and stuff like that. Oh yeah, and I forgot to change the page to html format - thus you see the html commands on my other post... how nice.
Thus the ease of Movable Type has lulled me into laziness when I'm on another type of blogging format. Yes, I am an idiot...

Ever have an idea about something that could be added here to the site that would make you're experience better, or maybe just a feature you think others would like?
Well, if so, we'd like to hear about it and here is you're chance. Just post a comment to this thread about anything you think would make things better here at Techography. This can range from features you think would be cool, right down to construcive criticism. No name calling or "you suck" posts though please. We know we arn't the best and could do without the reminder. If you are one of the many that read the site but don't like having to sign up to post comments, you are welcome to e-mail your thoughts/ideas to feedback@techography.com
For privacy's sake, we will not post any conact information on e-mails that we receive. We might post your name/handle if we like the idea so much that we implement it and even then, we will ask your permission before doing so.

My oldest daughter, age 6, lives in Pearland, Texas with my ex wife (her mother) and her husband.
As is normal I have not been able to contact them. Not a shock there.
However that area is now under Voluntary Evacuation with it going to Mandantory at 18:00 tonight.
I have tried calls. I have tried E-mail. I am at a loss. Between this and work, I'm really not prepared to deal with this.
Prayers Please.
Update:It's now a Catagory 5. Terror and Stress is not the words for my current condition. I haven't been a praying man in a very long time. I am now.

Got up this morning to find that something has backfired on me as I feared it might.
Many of you have contacted either BloodSpite or myself and commented on the fact that people can't comment to storied unless they have an account here on the site and are logged in. A good while back we had a problem with spammers and thats why I had to make that change. So I figured with the recent upgrade, I'd lower the defences - Big mistake.
I've been busy the last few days so I checked this morning as I find about 200 spam comments made over the last few days. I almost crapped my pants. I checked the spam filter (the other reason I lowered the defences as this should have caught this sort of thing) and I find close to 500 entries that is has managed to catch and remove. Which tells me this spammer has a better setup then most as all the entried caught or not come from the same IP address.

Just wanted to let everyone know that we are aware of the error messages at the top of eatch page on the site. While I was doing some backend upgrades to the site, the webhost had some issues and the result is some of the sites files became corrupted.
Since the site is about ready for a full backend upgrade, these lovely errors have moved the time table up a bit. So, tomorrow 9-13-05, somewhere in the 7pm EST time frame, I will be performing the upgrade. Nothing should really change but it should get rid of the unsightly errors and slow page loads.
Sorry for any inconvienence.
Update - The Upgrade was sucessfull and things seem to be in much better shape. Thanks to all for your patience.
