Random web tidbits from Talon Phate...

I haven't posted in a long time so I thought I would come out with a few links to share....  Follow my line of thought to discover what video podcasts, Google, a guy on a quest named Aaron, and a 12 year old future Techography poster all have in common.  Oh and a few other iTunes or Mac links for good measure just to keep you all guessing.

In other words... I had to much time on my hands this morning.  Read on if you are interested... So I have recently started watching video podcasts.  While checking out the latest episode of GeekBrief TV  I discovered that the old story of the little guy trying to be heard by a big mega corp continues to this day and is still a story that gets people's blood pupping.  Of course maybe you have already heard of Aaron's Quest to be heard at Google.  He has documented his entire journey online with video clips along the way.  Of course nobody knows what his idea is because then he couldn't sell it.  While I was following that story I found a 12 year old Tech Geek.  We are growing them young these days aren't we?  You might find this mini geek's insights very well insightful for his age or maybe even older.

Some other rather odd findings today include iLike basically a snapin or addition to iTunes (and probably some other music systems) that recommends songs to you based on what you are currently playing as well as lets you send your play lists to friends and have your own musical online personality through their website.  Finally if you didn't think your life was digitized enough another online service has come to your rescue or in my opinion to further weaken productivity and the ability to have a personal life.  The service is called Twitter and I haven't exactly figured out why anyone would want to use it, but I'm going to read some more.  The website describes itself as a "global community of friends and strangers answering one simple question: What are you doing? Answer on your phone, IM, or right here on the web!"  If you thought cell phones are a ball and chain to keep you connected with the ones you love then I would stay away from this site and keep those who might wish you to use it away from this site.  I guess you could say this takes blogging to a whole new level.
